Students wrote a Chapter 8 Spelling prequiz and are working on p. 31 all, p. 32 all, p. 33 #1, 4 p. 34 # 1,3 due tomorrow.

Thursday, October 22, Day 5

Grade 7 RC  ELA

Students wrote a chapter 7 Spelling Quiz and corrected it in class. We also continued with our Homophone Dictionary activity. No homework.

Wednesday, October 21, Day 4

Grade 7 RC   ELA 

Students worked on creating a Homophone Dictionary , coming up with as many homophone pairs as possible for each letter of the alphabet. Ongoing. There will be a Chapter 7 Spelling Quiz tomorrow.

Tuesday, October 20, Day 3

Grade 7 RC ELA - we corrected in class  all items assigned yesterday. Chapter 7 Spelling quiz on Thursday.

Monday, October 19, Day 2

Grade 7 RC ELA - Students wrote a chapter 7 Spelling pretest and worked on p. 27 all, p. 28 # 1,2,3,4, p. 29 #2 and p. 30 all due tomorrow.

Students will hand in chapter 6 review questions on Monday. There was a Spelling Chapter 5 Quiz today and the students corrected in class.

Wednesday, October 7, 2020, Day 1

Grade 7 RC ELA - Students have a chapter 4 Spelling quiz on Friday. We finished correcting in class all chapter 4 questions and all worksheets Lesson 1-5. No homework.

Friday, October 2, 2020, Day 4

Students wrote a Chapter 3 Spelling quiz and we corrected it in class together. As well we corrected worksheets Lesson 1,2,3 that were handed out yesterday. No homework.

Students were working on Spelling p. 8 # 1,3 due tomorrow. As well they were given a handout "Farewell to Pluto" (4 pages) due Thursday. On Friday there will be a Chapter 2 Spelling Quiz.

Students wrote a Chapter 1 Spelling Quiz in class and we corrected it together. As well we continued with My Summer Story presentations. Hopefully we will finish them off tomorrow. No homework.

Students started to present their My Summer Story. We will continue with the presentations tomorrow. As well, there is a Chapter 1 Spelling Quiz tomorrow.

We corrected most of the Spelling due today, to be continued tomorrow. Students were also given 30 minutes in class to work on My Summer Story, due Wednesday.

Friday, September 11, 2020 - Day 1

Students are working on Spelling Book p. 1 #1, p. 2 all, p.3 #1, 2, p. 4 # 1 and 3, due Monday.

As well I handed out a writing/presenting assignment, My Summer Story, due Wednesday. There will be some time in class on Monday and Tuesday to work on it. Please see the handout given.
